Remodeling in Winter Park, Where the House Has Rules and Most Renovations Break Them by Accident

Winter Park’s older housing stock is architectural in a way that most of Central Florida is not. Under the mature canopy and along the brick streets are houses with real period identity — considered proportion, specific window patterns, casing and base with depth to them, ceilings at heights that were chosen rather than defaulted, and openings that relate to each other across a plan.
